Holy shit! A new Colours mix! A new album art style! Exclaimation points!!!!
It’s been awhile since I had time to put a mix together but I think you’ll enjoy this. It’s a mix of (mostly) new Canadian Hip-Hop, Breaks and Vocal Trance-influenced Dubstep. I put a lot of tracks in here from the Backburner crew plus a new single from Tiggz.

It’s not often you come across a perfect album, but Certified Air Raid Material , from the difficult to search for artist, edIT is a perfect mix of breakbeat, rhymes and unadulterated turntablism. I’ve had this album permanently on my mp3 player since I got it, a week feels weird if I haven’t heard Crunk de Gaulle. And Straight Heat is just that.

Have you heard chiptunes? If you played any NES games you definitely did, if not, well it’s 8-bit video game-y sounding music. Well, chiptunes have got a bit of a resurgence in recent years, people love their nostalgia I guess.
Falco Lombardi seems to be one of the masters of the genre, listen to The Girl Oceanic to see what I mean. Heavy Duty is a less trance-y sounding chiptune, it’s a great example of 8-bit breakbeat, it comes from Breakbeat Heavy (appropriately enough)
